Where to Begin Meditation Series

This four week program is the perfect introduction to meditation exploring four practices: breathing, mindfulness, mantra and loving-kindness. Each session will include an explanation of the technique, a guided practice experience and an opportunity to reflect or ask questions. The vibe is comfortable and supportive.

MGH Stress Management and Resiliency Training

In this eight week SMART program from the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Mass General Hospital, you will learn:

  • How to recognize your personal responses to stress and the connections to physical and emotional health

  • Various self-care practices and meditative techniques to help elicit the “relaxation response”, the body's innate stress buffer

  • How to shift from stress-based thinking to resilience-based thinking

  • Mind body principles to improve healthy eating, restorative sleep and physical activity
